Senate House Hill - Great St Mary's Church

King's Parade and the Corpus Clock
As we walk on King's Parade, there it is: King's College Chapel, the most iconic building in Cambridge. Extraordinarily beautiful, this 500-year-old architectural masterpiece continues to amaze people today as when it was first built. Very near the Chapel we shall stop by a clock of unusual and scary features, so get ready to be surprised.
The Eagle Pub and the Old Cavendish Laboratory
A place for a last drink before going on war duty and where a very important scientific discovery was announced. Less than 200 metres away is the location of a laboratory where many discoveries which have changed your life and mine were made.
Pembroke College
At this college, the third oldest in Cambridge, the chapel was built by one of England's most famous architects and in its beautiful gardens you see a tropical tree which you would not expect to find in England.

We finish at Market Square, near many shops and eating places.

A toilet break is not planned, but the guide will point you in the direction of the closest toilet facilities if it becomes absolutely necessary.
The Cambridge University colleges are private institutions that have restricted access. They are closed during examination times and college events.
Times of opening can be subject to last minute changes. Your guide will check these details in advance and, if necessary, agree an alternative solution.

Except in extraordinary circumstances of bad weather, the tour will go ahead.
