Hiroshi was very informative and generous. We enjoyed the insight to Kyoto. We left it to the guide to chose sites and was very happy. Distances between each sight was larger than I originally expected and navigating the train & bus systems was a little more complex so I would highly recommend booking a tour with Hiroshi. - The navigation and insights and individual attention takes the tour to the next level.
We booked a Celebrity cruise around Japan. The stop at Kyoto is the Port of Osaka. To avoid the large, impersonal tours offered by the cruise line we decided to book a private tour to help us navigate public transportation to Kyoto and avoid some of the crowds. Hiroshi was an excellent choice for a guide. He speaks very good English and is extremely knowledgeable about the sites and explained their historic significance. He took us to a local restaurant and we had a fabulous bento box and great sushi.
Dear Gary T I am grateful to you for your great reviews on June one day tour in Kyoto.
