Starting from your hotel at 9:00 we will in 1 hour time arrive at Kamakura where there are historical temples, shrines and a great Buddha statue surrounded by evergreen hills and a long crescent sand beach. From Enoshima Island on the shore you may probably see Mt. Fuji. As the seaside town Kamakura is famous for its fresh seafood cuisines.
At your hotel
Temples (Kamakura Five Temples (Zen Buddhism) built in the middle of 13th Century are famous for their ascetic practices even today))
Tsurugaoka Shrine, where the last Minamoto Shogun was killed like a Shakespeare's tragedy, and Zeniarai Benten are famous
Though slightly smaller than Todai-ji's in Nara, Hase Great Buddha is the symbol of Kamakura with adjacent Hase Temple.
Enoshima Island (You can visit it by nostalgic Enoshima Electric Railway running along the sea side. There is a observatory tower. )
At your hotel
By Japan Railway you can go to Kamakura from Tokyo or Shijuku Sta. within one hour without changing trains. Kamakura itself is rather a small seaside town, but it is very popular as the place where the first shogunate (Kamakura Era) was located from 1192 for 1333. During such 150 years, unlike in Kyoto, they created their own cultures especially relating with Zen Buddhism. Every tour spot is within walking distance to the next. And if you are strong enough you can drop by Yokohama on the way back to Tokyo.

Since every road in Kamakura is very crowded throughout a year, a tour using a van or a coach is not so convenient.
I wanted to take this opportunity and thank Mr.Yasuro for guiding our family of six. This is our First time to Japan and we do not speak any Japanese lol. He is our beacon to Japan. His kindness and sincerity is noticeable applaud. His knowledge and wisdom of Japan's historical mark is superb. He has accommodate us from the beginning of our booking and air flight arrival to the very end of our tour. We are grateful for his service. I highly recommend Mr.Yasuro. Thank you very much. We had an amazing time!
Dear Jeff Trinh & Family., Thank you very much for your kind remarks on me. As none of us have ever experienced this rapidly changing world, it is not easy for youngsters to find right directions as they are growing up. But, as my observation, your children are alright, because you and your Mrs. are so gentle and thoughtful to them. Please take them to Japan again, though they may fail to get AAA. Thank you again. Best regards, Yasuro
Yasaro was the perfect guide, very knowledgeable. We saw and did so much in a day and couldn’t have done it without him. Highly recommend!
Dear Ann H., Thank you very much for the generous review on me. Please take care of yourselves as the weather is not stable now in Japan, and come visit Japan again to see cherry blooming in Ueno Park. Best regards, Yasuro
Yasuro is a very good guide. He guided us for two days in Tokyo and one day in Hakone. Very timely and organized. He explained where we were going and what we were going to see and how we were going to get there every morning. He also was conscious of the weather and didn’t suggest things (ie Tokyo tower) on a day it didn’t make sense to go. He also communicated very well before the trip. I would highly recommend Yasuro as a guide!
Dear Thank you very much for your kind review on me. Unfortunately, it was not good weather, so we couldn’t have a clear view of Mt. Fuji. But I assume you enjoyed a trek around Hakone mountains and Mt. Kintoki. Please come to Tokyo again especially to see cherry blooming, instead of hydrangea, in the end of March. Thank you again. Best regards, Yasuro
Yasuro is an experienced guide who took care of us safely and everything went like clockwork. He knew how to go about the day taking into account the crowds, traffic and scenery. Would recommend Yasuro in a heartbeat. Thanks, Yasuro for a memorable and wonderful time. All the best, Cathy
Dear Cathy A., Thank you very much for your generous compliments. Yes, that was a typical weather of Hakone & Lake Ashi in May, everything was bright and beautiful especially Mt. Fuji which still had some snow on its top. I was eased when we came back to Shinjuku in time without big trouble. Please take care of your selves and come back to Japan again. Best regards, Yasuro
