This amazing route includes waterfalls, black beaches, glaciers, volcanoes, and the picturesque Vik village. This is the second most popular sightseeing trip to make out of Reykjavik after the Golden circle route.

We depart Reykjavik in the morning. Starting time is flexible but recommended starting time is 8 am.
Seljalandsfoss waterfalls is one of the most famous waterfalls in Iceland. When it is not icy it is usually possible to hike behind the 100 ft. high waterfall. Please note that the path is very uneven and not suitable for everyone.
Skogafoss waterfall is 100 ft. high. It is one of the most famous waterfalls in Iceland. It has perfect dimensions for photography. Looks like a curtain from afar.
Village Vik has a population of around 300. It is the southernmost town in Iceland and the only town by the sea without a harbor. This is a suitable place for a lunch brake. You'll have a view of a black beach and sea stacks in the water. The largest souvenir shop in Iceland is in Vik.
Solheimajokull glacier is one of many glaciers along the south coast. We'll drive 4 km off the main road to reach a parking lot. From there we'll walk along a fairly good path towards the edge of the glacier. The hike there takes about 20 minutes each way. Please wear suitable shoes. In winter the path may be icy and therefore very slippery. The visit will take about 1 hour in total from time you arrive from time you depart.
End of the tour, drop off at your hotel anywhere in the Greater Reykjavik Area is included.
