Hiroshi was very informative and generous. We enjoyed the insight to Kyoto. We left it to the guide to chose sites and was very happy. Distances between each sight was larger than I originally expected and navigating the train & bus systems was a little more complex so I would highly recommend booking a tour with Hiroshi. - The navigation and insights and individual attention takes the tour to the next level.
Our day with Akira for my family of four was excellent. Akira took us to districts and places we would have never gone on our own. His helpful knowledge and stories allowed us to visit Tokyo on our own afterwards with a lot more confidence. Akira was able to modify our plans on the fly as well to accommodate our kids and how they were enjoying the trip. We returned to the places he shared with us a couple times as they were some of the highlights of our trip. Thank you Akira for a great day.
Thank you so much Isaac and beautiful Kiewnings for the great day. Thank you so much for the great review. I’m happy to know that the tour became good introduction that gave you confidence on explore the city on your own. It makes me smile remembering you all exchanging at the old school candy store and the local fruit stand in happy family vibes. I am looking forward to another chance to explore my loving city together, maybe next time not only Tokyo but in other regions too. Sincerely, Akira
Julia did great and helped us out so much. She went out of her way to help us see everything that we wanted to see and was very flexible. She also was very knowledgeable about New York. I highly recommend Julia and this review doesn’t even do her justice.
Thank you, Jobe! I am so glad that you and your family had a special trip I could be a part of. It was my pleasure! All the best, Julia
Hugh is very knowledgeable and flexible to tailor our tour day due to changing circumstances. For example, when the trains to Mijiima were not available because of heavy rains and mud slide risks, we started out in the reverse order and started with the atomic bomb dome and museum. When became clear that the trains would still be out for a few more hours. We took a cab, tram and two boats to get to and from Miyajima and had a great time. He is a wealth of knowledge for history buffs like myself. His fluency in Japanese was flawless and great to have as a guide.
