Hello! My name is Lea, Split is my hometown and I'm a licensed tour guide for Split-Dalmatia, Dubrovnik-Neretva and Šibenik-Knin county, both in English and Spanish language. I was born in Split, I have been living here for more than 20 years and I'm passionate about sharing its beauty and culture! I got my Master's degree in Marketing, at Faculty of Economics here in Split. Following my university studies, I moved to Barcelona to do an internship before returning back to Split. I have always enjoyed learning languages, travelling and experiencing different cultures. Soon after graduation I have realised that office job doesn't suit me and I started to work as a tour guide, which was the best decision I have ever made! When I'm not tour guiding, I love to learn languages - I can speak English, Spanish, Portuguese and French. Yoga is also one of my passions, I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) by International Yoga Alliance. Local gastronomy has always interested me, so I decided to do a course for a wine consultant to get to know more about the rich wine history in Croatia. In my free time, I love long walks with my dog and reading books. I absolutely love my job and cannot wait to share with you all the beauties that the city of Split and the region of Dalmatia have to offer! If you were looking for a private guide to experience the region like a true local - you are right where you should be!

Dear travelers, I’m a local certified guide for Dubrovnik and its surroundings. I’m in love with history, languages, gastronomy, and travels. I'm also mum of two little kids so I don't have a lot of free time :) but when I do, I enjoy reading, trying new recipes, doing yoga and pilates. My work experience includes guiding in Dubrovnik (old town, city walls, cable car, island Lokrum), Elafiti islands, the island of Korčula, Pelješac peninsula, Konavle Region. Our country is small but has a lot to offer and I always do my best to present it in the best way, to balance information and interesting facts about the history and everyday life. Looking forward to meeting you !

Greetings from Croatia to all the new and past visitors of this alluring part of Europe... Make your vacation a beautiful memory to think of when life gives you a ton of headaches to worry about. Take advantage of it and seize the priceless cultural and natural Croatian heritage - discover the endless beauties and classic tales that go with it... Frane (Frah-neh) is my name and I've been a licensed guide for the last 15 years: cooperating with many tour companies, and always open to new challenges. As a history professor in Croatia, my passion is history, and it's significate to the effects of modern life. My tours throughout Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Montenegro are all private with me as a driver/guide with private transportation. A family crossover (up to 4 participants) and if you are a small group, I will arrange sizeable and comfortable transportation with a professional driver. I'll be delighted to be your local connection with the outstanding legacy that Croatia has to offer in this time when tourism has to rise from its own ashes. Let's make a change together.

Darko

Croatia

Dear visitors, my name is Darko, I've been in love with Croatia since the first day of my life and my goal is to pass that love to You. I was born and raised in Split, pearl of the Mediterranean sea and since forever I am fascinated by history, culture and nature. At the beginning of my career I worked in Croatian national theater and in Split city museum as an official tour guide and that experience with knowledge I got from my older colleagues helped me a lot and gave me a big impulse in becoming freelancer. Today my full time job is producer of cultural events but my true passion is tour guiding. As I am scuba diver, hiker and big fan of football, I incorporate all those hobbies and knowledge in my tours.

Croatia

I have been working for 19 years as a licensed tour guide in Dubrovnik , but also as a tour manager in Central Europe, so guiding is more if a passion fir me than a job. One if the things I enjoy the most about it is the chance to see same things differently through the eyes of my guests. When in Dubrovnik I do small private tours , which allows me to have more personal, relaxed and friendly approach. It, also, gives opportunity to take people to places off beaten track, which is not possible with big groups, but it is available for on line guided tours.

I have worked in other jobs such as wedding planning, customer service, tourist information, restaurants, music festivals, etc. but nothing inspires and fulfills me as much as tour guiding! I've also lived in Galway, Ireland and I like to travel as much as I can, it's my biggest passion.

Wonderful Day in Tokyo w/ Maru!

Our family had a wonderful time in Tokyo with Maru as our guide. She was very professional and patient with our group of 9, each of who had different ideas of what they wanted to do and see. She let us customize our tour and shared a lot of interesting information about each location. Maru was very friendly and taught us how to navigate the train system. It didn’t seem so intimidating afterwards. We really enjoyed our time in Tokyo with Maru. I am so glad I found her to be our Tokyo guide as we were almost going to go with another company. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a tour guide for Tokyo.

Perfectly planned tour

Masahisa is an outstanding guide with unmatched work ethics - it was a pleasure to spend two days with him. Initially, he stood out for me by detailed long responses. It allowed us to collaborate ahead of time with extremely detailed customized planning of the trip. Masahisa ensured that our wishes were accommodated, including a bullet train ride. He showed up on time for both days and stayed extra, as needed. Incredible planning skills resulted in minimal waiting for trains, even with 3 train changes. Masahisa is very kind and friendly - he took a lot of group pictures for us, and even printed them! He provided us with very detailed portfolio of information for both days. He was not available for the third day, so gave us detailed instructions. Choices of lunch places for both days were excellent. He went extra mile to book world-known Kobe beef restaurant for us. Highly recommend!

Alexander Thank you for stopping by Kansai in this scorching hot season. Hearing about your homes in S.F, NYK, Evanston, Northwestern Univ, and other update from your party reminded me of my active days in my yourth in US . I was also grateful for the two enjoyable days. If you have the opportunity, please come again. Wish you all return home safely with great family memory in the Far East Island. Thanks Masahisa

A great first day in Shinjuku.

As first time visitors to Japan, planning a trip can be a bit daunting. In planning the trip, I was impressed by previous reviews for Ai so asked if she was available to offer an introduction to Shinjuku on our first day; something that would suit a family of four, from 15, 19 to 50’s. Ai delivered a fantastic tour for a few hours around Shinjuku. She kept things interesting for all of us and showed us places and bars/restaurants that we’d never have found on our own. A superb start to our trip. Thank you Ai.

Awesome Busan

We had a great time in Busan thanks to Dylan! He was historically knowledgeable and shared personal experiences as well. We requested a good Korean meat restaurant for lunch, and the food was delicious!! His fun and witty personality made our day an enjoyable one. We would like to make another trip to Busan someday and hopefully connect with Dylan again.
