Arriving Palenque we will give you an introduction about Palenque history and culture during 30 to 40 minutes

We will go to a house where we will se a show of dance and music where you will see and understand the Palenque culture trough music, how the community interact, and why the always have a song for every circunstances (including dead). You will also interact playing the instruments and dancing with them.

Walk around the Town

We will walk around the town while we talk about the Palenque society, how are the organized, how many people are they, their economy, the politics. Also we will visit the house of an elder woman who make candies and you will see, hear, and cook with her in her back yard.

Lunch time

Time to enjoy the delight of the Palenque gastronomy, and enjoy a fried fish marinade with coconut milk and chopped vegetables, coconut rice, and smush fried plantain. all this served in a plantain leave. And unforgettable experience.
