My tour will be the best-of-the-best of the old-and-the-new on the West Side of Manhattan with lots of photo ops included.
I include sites that are very new in places that are very old. We will relive the history of the construction of the great piers and the ships they brought to America.
I can also be flexible and, where possible, add a destination - provided it does not require waiting in a long queue.
Outdoor seating area - uptown side of 14th st. & 9th Avenue - or your hotel lobby should you require guidance.
We will meet outside the Starbucks where, as you wish, you are free to coffee up and/or visit their restroom.
Wonderful modern shopping concourse established in an old factory - with some pipes still visible.
Up-to-date sports-and-entertainment complex on the site of old shipping piers.
Beautiful views of Manhattan, the Hudson River, New Jersey, the Statue of Liberty and more.
There will also be historic tie-ins to the sinking of The Greatest Ship in the World.
Pictures are always better from slightly higher up. This elevated walkway is over and through a booming residential-and-artistic area.
This will be the end of the tour with optional lunch nearby, at your choosing.
