From the arrival of a Jewish community from Normandy in 1066/67 to the Kindertransport children of 1938/39, Jews have played important roles in the unfolding drama of British history. We will visit some of the most spectacular sites in the City. We will also reveal the little-known Jewish associations of some of London's most famous landmarks.

Meeting Point

Your central London hotel or Bank Underground Station

Our tour will begin near the Bank of England. I will be happy to escort you there from your Central London hotel

I will take you on a journey through the streets and alleys of London to bring alive the nearly 1,000 year history of the Jews in London

01:00 PM

Our tour will end at Liverpool Street Station, after which I shall be happy to escort you to your lunch destination or back to your Central London hotel.

Our leisurely stroll of about 2.2 miles (3.5 km) over mostly flat terrain will take about three hours.

Important Information

Our tour takes place in Central London which has no shortage of refreshment and relief establishments. Nonetheless, I suggest that everyone should bring water and any snacks they might need to keep them going for up to three hours, and they should wear comfortable clothes - especially shoes.
