I have presumed a start at the East End of the city, the tour will be adjusted to suit the location of your hotel or where you wish to meet.

I'll meet you at your hotel and we'll head up to the top of Calton Hill for an overview of the city.

St Andrew Square & George Street

Here we'll have a closer look at the origins of the New Town, I'll introduce you to some of its characters and tell you some of their stories...I'll also let you know about George IV's kilt...

The Mound to the Royal Mile

We'll have a look around the top half of the Royal Mile including St Giles Cathedral, some of the important closes (alley ways), Parliament Square, the Mercat Cross and the City Chambers. I'll tell you about Deacon Brodie, executions, ghosts and other interesting characters.

Greyfriars Church Yard

We'll walk along George IV Bridge for our penal;timate stop. Here you'll hear about my encounter with history, more ghosts and horrors and to balance it all out, Greyfriars Bobby and some Harry Potter connections.

Here our tour ends in an area with multiple restaurants and bars for your lunch stop.

I am based near Edinburgh and work in the city as well as carrying out day trips from there. I will also accept bookings to tour throughout the country using my vehicle.

We will be climbing hills (it's unavoidable in Edinburgh) but don't worry, I'm no mountain goat so we'll take it easy.
