Because of the most horrible airlines in the world (Air India) our tour didn’t take place but I’m writing this review to thank Sid for all the tour preparation he did to match it with our wishes, for his flexibility to do the tour on other day or even in the night time and for his help to speed up the visa issuing process (plane was 3 days delayed and our visas expired in the meantime). Thanks one more time for everything Sid.
Maru was exactly the right person to guide us through our first day in Tokyo. She showed us some of the top sights and also personalized the tour to our preferences. We loved the Tsukiji fish market where my sons even all tried tuna sashimi. We went to Sensoji temple and Meiji shrine. We were able to do Shibuya scramble intersection and the Pokemon shop. She was even able to help us get last minute baseball tickets and took us to a wonderful conveyor belt sushi restaurant for lunch that was a little out of the touristy area (which my sons have requested we go to again). She also helped us navigate the subways. Maru was very fun and it was a perfect day!
Kaori was a wonderful tour guide! She went above and beyond to understand what our interests were and then designed a tour specifically tailored to us. The time with her flew by! Our tour was an incredible mix of history, culture, and anime! Her kindness, warmth, and professionalism made our first day in Tokyo very special. Highly recommend!!
Our tour with Shinya was great from start to finish. He made superb choices in what buildings to show us. I addition to famous landmarks, he covered some of his personal favorites. He has a deep love for the city and knowledge about it that was reflected in the tour. It was an excellent introduction to the city. We also appreciated that he communicated with us frequently about the pace and asked for our input.
