We meet you at this Lodge after breakfast on the N2. Leaving for Riversdale.
Arrive at Ou Meul Bakery for a great cup of coffee and a hot croissant. Best in this area. This franchise is known for the best pastries and different breads in the Garden Route.
Leave the town and go through pass. Two stops for beautiful pictures of Sleeping Beauty and the Toll House. Arrive in Ladismith, Hoeko and Seweweekspoort

They serve freshly baked bread, delicious breakfasts and lunches. If you want to stock up on chutneys, jams, rusks, fresh lemonade GRANAAT is also the place. Unfortunately no card facilities.
Matjiesfontein is a bastion of Victoriana. Explore the historic ambience of the famed Lord Milner Hotel, its old world charm, gracious servers, and elegant décor—not to mention discovering its ghost stories.
Check in at the hotel. Rest of afternoon at own leisure to explore. Here, you can dine by candlelight in The Hotel Dining Room, be served by red-jacketed porters, while feasting on local specialities such as Karoo lamb.
Enjoy a hearty Karoo breakfast in the hotel and leisure for that last souvenir. Make sure you post a postcard / letter from this historical Post Office. We leave at 10h00 for Oudtshoorn.
This capital of the Karoo can give you hours and hours to be busy. Walk around to the CP Nel Museum for the history of the ostrich, the golden feather era, souvenir shops for painted egg shells, colorful ostrich feather dusters and some history. We meet for lunch at the Karoo Pot Restaurant

This is the hub of this holiday town. Lots of history and lots of first happened in Mossel Bay and the newest addition is the longest overwater zipline in the WORLD. More than 1 kilometre with rushing waves underneath you. For those that is not so brave, visit the Old WWII monument, The Big Cave, Play some putt-putt or enjoy a great ice cream while watching the ocean or whales (during season) from the benches on the rocks.
We leave here to make sure after a great two days you are safe at the Game Lodge where you can discuss all your stories, ghost experiences and adventure while sipping a sun downer and watch some African Big 5 and sunsets.
