Lets visit the oldest mosque in Kuala Lumpur which was built in 1909. The mosque boasts Mughal influenced architecture and was built during the British Administration. It was once known as the national mosque before the new mosque was built in 1965.
This is the main square of the capital city. It is the birthplace of the city. Sultan Abdul Samad's building is right next to the Dataran as well Royal Selangor Club, the cricket ground and St. Mary's Cathedral circa 1894. The highest flag pole can be found on the grounds and it is the one place where one can witness the contrast of the new and old city.
Kuala Lumpur translates to muddy confluence of the two rivers, Klang river and Gombak river. This is the place where the two rivers joint before flowing off to the Straits of Malacca. Tin was found in this area and that is how Kuala Lumpur originated.

This is the oldest Taoist Temple - circa 1864. It was built during the civil war and was completed in 1883. Witness the two warrior deities who protect and served the Chinese community.
The oldest Hindu temple in Kuala Lumpur - circa 1873. it was built with south indian architecture and was dedicated to the Goddess Mariamman . It has the 22 metre gopuram which serves as the entrance to the temple. It serves as a place of worship for the Hindu community old and new.
