What to Expect
This tour focuses on the history and scenic beauty of Fukuoka. You will visit Dazaifu Tenmengu Shrine which enshrines Sugawara no Michizane, as a deity of scholarship. You can see and buy traditional craftworks and fancy goods at souvenir shops along the shrine’s path. In addition, you will visit Ohori Park, which has a 2km-circumference pond consisting of three islands with a beautiful pavilion and a Japanese landscape garden. You will get relaxed in the Monument of Japan. Also, please appreciate local delicacies in Fukuoka. You will have a lot of lovely time!

“ Great view of Fukuoka ”
Yoko was amazingly well prepared for the guided tour through the Fukuoka history. She makes the trip through time really comfortable. Her English is great, so its easy as a foreigner to talk with her throughout the whole tour. And her translations makes it relaxing to explore Fukuoka.
