First I take you to Namba Yasaka Shrine. Whatever you say, the most eye-catching thing at Yasaka Shrine in Osaka is a Giant Emaden in the shape of lion mask. I show you Doguyasuji and Kuromon market. Dotombori is a popular street with a lot of flashy signboards. Osaka is widely known as a "Kuidaore-no-machi", or literally "drinking and eating luxuriously to death." Popular foods are "Konamon" such as Okonomiyaki. or a Japanese-style pancake grilled on an iron plate.

I recommend you visit the Osaka Museum of Housing and Living at Tenjinbashisuji sixth street. You can see the reproductions of long houses facing the street, goods for sale, and general household items. The Osaka branch office of the Bank of Japan that was built in 1903 and the Osaka City Hall that was built in 1986 are located near Yodoyabashi (bridge).

Walk one of World Heritage Kumano-Kodo trails "Choishi-michi" which is nearest to Osaka and Kyoto. It is an antient access way to Koyasan fonded by the great monk Kukai. Its name is coming from the 180 stupas (Choishi) stand along the trail, which people have been prayed to. The total distance is 22km, takes roughly 7 hours without transportation/rest if you have good physical ability. The trail mostly keeps its original style when opened.

Mt. Rokko to Arima Onsen trekking tour

Mt. Rokko which stands just behind Kobe city is one of most popular trekking areas for locals! Despite being so close to the city, the trails are full of nature and show varieties of the landscape. The Sumiyoshi Grand Shrine was founded in 211 and is dedicated to the sea gods which are the Sumiyoshi Sanjin (Sumiyoshi three gods) and the Empress Jingu. It's the headquarters of the approximately 2,300 Sumiyoshi shrines nationwide. About 2.35 million people visited the shrine during the first three days of the New Year in 2013.
