Ancient Pompeii
This amazing tour of ancient Pompeii will be an extraordinary experience.
The city was covered under ashes and pumice stones during the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD 79 and it was abandoned soon after.
In 1748 the king of Naples, Charles III of Bourbon, decided to bring it back to life.
Ancient Pompeii is a jewel that we will disclose slowly starting from the Porta Marina Gate

09.40 Visit of the thermal bath complex
10.00 The Basilica, which was the Court House before the eruption
10.15 The Forum square with the Municipal Offices
10.30 We will move towards the ancient Theaters.
10.45 Visit of a beautiful dwelling to see its mosaics and frescoes
11.10 Visit of a shop and a bakery. Along the way we will also see ancient public fountains.
11.20 Return to the Forum square to visit the Clothes market with its beautiful marble relief.
11.30 End of tour

“ Connecting Several Generations of a Family ”
Maria was kind, funny, experienced and a very knowledgeable guide! She took a lot of time planning this tour. She researched and found relatives I haven’t seen in over 40 years and translated conversations with my family since I only speak English and they only speak Italian. Maria spent the whole day with us showing me where my parents used to live in Cantaloupo and Castelpetroso. These are very small towns in the mountains. We had one person in our group who had a food allergy and she found an excellent restaurant that was very accommodating! I would highly recommend Maria as a tour guide!
