1. National Monument
It was built after independent day as the independent monument for Indonesia people in 1961 and being opened for public visit in 1975. And the gold was 50 kilogram as the symbol of fire, spirit of Indonesia people who fighting the colonial. We are not going up the monument and snap the picture in front and inside the first floor that you can enjoy and watching 48 dioramas that depicting the struggle of Indonesia independence.
Batik Store
Here you can enjoy and seeing the whole kind of batik that was made from Solo, Central Java. Where current Indonesia President Jokowi from there.
Local Restaurant (West Sumatera Food)
This restaurant have many kind of menu from West Sumatera. The famous menu is rendang beef, chicken kari and grill chicken. While the price is reasonable. They will count the food what you eat and drink.
Indonesia Museum
With the Indonesia Museum, you can enjoy watching traditional customs and wedding dress from the whole provinces in Indonesia. This museum have 3 floor in which each floor have different collection from the others.
West Sumatera pavilion
This is the biggest pavilion house from West Sumatera. This pavilion is consist from 3 houses. Then we rust the North pavilion and Aceh Pavilion. After finishing at the pavilion of Aceh, we get on car to go to West Papua pavilion. Also after you visit West Papua available to get in of cable car ride but this is optional choice that mean you pay by your own money. As the last pavilion from West Papua, we visit Bali pavilion.

“ Proactive, attentive, informative ”
Dwi was very proactive, reaching out to us, confirming details, advising of COVID ticket restrictions and reserving tickets for us to ensure we had a very smooth visit. He was very flexible with our timing and where we wanted to go, we didn’t want to rush so kept it to the two temples. We took our luggage and where dropped at the train station saving travel time. Note there is a lot of driving to and between temples and traffic is very congested, the quality of the car will impact your enjoyment, you want to be comfortable.
