This adventure tour takes you to some of the green and lush routes of Western Ethiopia where coffee originated. The journey also get you acquainted with the tribe of Surma/Suri, who are culturally so vibrat and untouched by many travelers due to their location. Compared with thos ethinic groups in lower Omo valley, the Suri people are more indignious and are still intact with their own rituals and way of life. Men are doing stick fighting contest with one snother when they are about to marry.
At your hotel or airport
Day 1- Addis Ababa
Arrive Addis Abeba transfer to hotel. Balance of the day, do city tour and visit National museum where Lucy is located, Mount Entoto and Merkato. O/n hotel
Day 2-Addis Ababa- Jimma
After breakfast fly or drive to Jimma, 346km with a population of about 30 million people. O/n Hotel
Day 3-Jima-Mizan Teferi
Check out then visit an old palace of Abajifar, reginal loard reigned (1878 - 1932) then head to Mizan Teferi 240km.This is a road that cross the most greenery route in Ethiopia, the region of "Kaffa" where coffee was originated. O/n Hotel
Day 4- Mizan-Kibish
Breakfsst and Continue driving to Kibish 200km,
On the way visit Bebeka coffee plantation, Ethiopia’s largest and oldest state coffee farm. O/n camping
Day 5-Kibish
Fullday in kibish visiting the village of Suri (Surma) tribes. The Suri or Surma tribes are an islated ethinic group living in a remote corner of south-western Ethiopia. Like the Mursi, women practices lip plate insertion, meaning
at their puberty most women have their bottom teeth removed in order to get their lower lip pierced. Once the lip is pierced, it’s then slowly stretched out by changing the size of the plate. O/n Camping
Day 6- Kibish-Tulgit- Kubish
After breakfast, drive to the village of Tulgit; 20km, if available today is the day that we see stick-fighting event, a ritual ceremony that young men are fighting one from another to prove themselves they pass from younghood to manhood and a criual time to get their life partner. O/n camping
Day 7- Kibish-Mizan
Today we drive to Mizan via Maji village with a stop at any available market places. O/n hotel
Day 8-Mizan-Jima
Check out hotel and drive back to Jima using the same road we had the first day. On the way, visit Wush Wush tea plantation. O/n hotel
Day 9-Jima-Addis Abeba
Take breakfsst then fly to Addis Ababa. On arrivel, do more activities and finalize the city tour. After farewell dinner, drop at the airport for departure home.
End of our service
Optional- Jima-Omo valley. This route can be extended to Omo valley for those who have more days to travel.

As I am working in the travel business, I work from Monday- Sunday. But in the month of May 2023, I am not available in Addis Ababa for I fly to Gondar.
