This tour mainly tours Osaka and Kyoto.
I have lived in Osaka for 10 years and have been to Kyoto 300 times through tourism.
I can also offer hands-on guided tours. I can offer maiko and geiko viewing, furoshiki (wrapping cloth) making, matcha (powdered green tea), professional acupuncture in ninja costume, and introduction-type experiences.
My Instagram account has been viewed by 130,000 people in one month.
Not to mention famous places.
I can also guide visitors to places where foreign tourists do not usually go.
I can be flexible. Best regards.
Kazu was a wonderful fit for our family! He had a really well planned 2 day itinerary for Kyoto and had excellent pre-trip communications. My 9 year old son sprained his angle the day before our tour. I was able to get him a wheelchair and Kazu went out of his way to help. He carried that thing around when we got as far as we could go, he helped me push it, and most of all he made sure everyone was having a good time. His knowledge and advice on food in particular is really good. I highly recommend having him with you in the markets. We enjoyed his company so much we invited him to dinner too. Thank you Kazu for helping us and making our trip memorable!
Dear Kelly, Thank you very much for your wonderful review and kind words. It was truly an honor to guide your family during the two days in Kyoto. I am delighted to hear that you were satisfied with the itinerary and pre-trip communications. Despite your son's injury, I am glad we could arrange a wheelchair and ensure he was as comfortable as possible. It was a relief to see everyone enjoying themselves, and I am pleased that my advice on the local food markets was helpful. I also thoroughly enjoyed my time with your family. You were all so kind and friendly, and it was a pleasure to share this experience with you. Being invited to dinner was a great honor and a memorable highlight for me as well. Please convey my warm regards and gratitude to your wife and son. I hope your son is recovering well and that your family continues to make wonderful memories together. I look forward to the possibility of guiding you again in the future. I will continue to strive to provide the best experiences for all my clients. Warm regards, Kazu
Kazu was very accommodating and patient as I amended plans several times due to changes with travel plans. He was quick to adapt and keen to ensure that the tour was tailored to my specific interest. As a solo traveler it is important that you can get along with your guide as it is just you and them- and Kazu made sure to put me at ease and that I had a fun and interesting time!
Dear Tawana, Thank you very much for your kind words and wonderful review! It was my pleasure to accommodate your changing plans and tailor the tour to your specific interests. I'm delighted to hear that you had a fun and interesting time on the tour. Sharing the local Osaka experience with you brought me great joy and fulfillment as a guide. I thoroughly enjoyed introducing you to the unique rules of eating kushikatsu and exploring the fascinating subculture of Osaka's gachapon (capsule toy) machines. These moments truly made the tour special, and I am glad they added to your experience. Additionally, I had a fantastic time sharing the Kansai dialect written on your sunglasses and guiding you through selecting souvenirs, showcasing the rich culture of Osaka. Your enjoyment of these aspects is what makes my job so rewarding. Thank you again for choosing my tour. I look forward to the opportunity to guide you on another adventure in Japan! Warm regards, Kazu
Kazu was a terrific guide for our excursion on June 18. He allowed us (7 adults) to customize our tour for whatever we wanted to do that day. He arrived promptly at our hotel at 8:30 am. Our first stop was the Fushimi Inari Shrine. Next we went to the Arashiyama area to see the bamboo forest. After a stroll through the forest, we stopped for lunch at a local ramen restaurant which was delicious. From there, we proceeded across the Togetsukyo Bridge to the Monkey park. The Monkey park was so fun!! Keep in mind, the hike up the hill is a bit more than I anticipated, it took us more than the 20 minutes suggested (for the hike) so allow yourself plenty of time to do this activity. From the monkey park we took a taxi to the Golden Pavillion. Great photo opps at this beautiful temple. Kazu was so friendly with all of us, especially our kids (not really kids, aged 18,21,24) but they talked anime and Pokemon a lot. Kazu also carried a camera and took photos of us all day. He also bought us some mochi candy from a street stand. Please do not hesitate to hire Kazu as your guide!
Dear Darren, Thank you very much for your kind words and for taking the time to share your experience. It was truly a pleasure guiding you and your group through Kyoto. I'm delighted to hear that you enjoyed the customized tour and that our stops at Fushimi Inari Shrine, Arashiyama, and the Golden Pavilion were memorable for you. I'm glad the ramen lunch and the visit to the Monkey Park added to your enjoyment, despite the unexpected hike duration. It's wonderful to know that our discussions about anime and Pokemon were enjoyable for your family, and I'm happy that the photos and mochi candy were appreciated. The hike to the Monkey Park was indeed challenging, but hiking with all of you made it a very enjoyable and memorable experience for me. Your recommendation means a lot to me, and I hope to have the opportunity to guide you again in the future. See you guys in US or Japan. Warm regards, Kazu
Visiting Kyoto with Kazu felt like exploring the city with a good friend. His English is good, and he was super flexible with the program for the day. Thumb up from us!
