About Tour Guide Carol N.
Having living in Japan over 30 years, love the rich and diversity of the culture, the seasons and the people here!
I can speak fluent Japanese, Cantonese and English. I have worked as an interpreter for some corporate companies here, including film and airlines industry.
It would be a good opportunity to make use of my language skills and living experiences here.

A day trip to experience the modern and high end areas of Tokyo… Shibuya. Omotesando, Azabudai Hills… While a short distance away, to explore the beautifully reserved nature in the Meiji Shrine. It is also a great route for Shoppers and Foodies along the way. ( Also happy to customize the tour upon request)

From visiting the yummy food stalls at Tsukiji fish market, then Sensoji Temple and Nakamise Dori street. Walk along Sumida river to Skytree tower… In the afternoon, Shibuya Scramble Crossing and Hachiko statue. Then Meiji Shrine, Takeshita street. Then a visit to the Imperial Palace and stop by the Tokyo station. Finally, in the evening, take a one stop train ride to visit Ginza to end the tour. A fruitful and full day Tokyo exploring tour.

A half day tour to explore the best of Tokyo, old and new. To start your day… A visit to the well known Meiji Shrine, emerge yourself in the nature of a century old forest. Experience the tranquility, with the history, the spirit of old Japan in the center of Tokyo. Then, walking down to Harajuku, Takeshita street, Omotesando, explore the modern Tokyo, newest trend. Then, shibuya… Last stop, a visit to the oldest temple in Tokyo, Sensoji. Then Nakamise street… shopping and lunch…

About an hour train ride from center of Tokyo, embrace yourself in the nature…experience the mixture of modern vibes and historical sites in harmony. Whether you choose a relaxing hike or an intense one, take the lift or cable car, there is always beautiful scenery to enjoy ! “ Fantastic experience - culture, history,food,sights ”
It was a pleasure to spend the day with Carol as our guide. Great advice and suggestions in helping my daughter and I decide what to see during our tour, while being happy to change things on the day if we wanted to. We managed to see everything we had planned including specialist shops which Carol had researched and found. It was great to get Carol's insight into the places we visited but also Japan in general, and this made the day so much more special. “ The Best at our Guide Ever ”
Carol was the absolute best guide ever! I highly recommend Carol if you need a guide. We had the best time with her showing us around Japan. Her English was perfectly spoken we could understand everything she said and she was able to translate conversations with ease. We were a large group of 40 people from the United States of America who ranged in ages from 41 to 86 years old and we all absolutely loved the services she provided. I can’t go without mentioning that she came and provided services for us on her day off as well! She is an amazing person with a warm wonderful heart and spirit! We travel as a group every year and never have we had a guide that we enjoyed more than Carol!!! If you are looking for a guide she comes highly recommended from all 40 of us!!!! FIVE STARS ️️️️️

“ 2+ Days in Tokyo! ”
Carol was amazing! She took us and our 9 year old son around all the sites in Tokyo over 2 and a half days - so we spent a lot of time with her. Her planning and knowledge of the transportation system saved us a ton of time, she helped us discover new places, and went out of her way to make sure we got to dinner after the tour was complete each day (making reservations, ensuring we got to the restaurant, walked us through the menu and got us situated - all well after our time was up). This was above and beyond a knowledgeable guide and more like a nanny for adults! She was great with our son too who wanted her to be with us the rest of the trip. :) We enjoyed her company and highly recommend her.
