My name is Kahoko .
I live in Tokyo over 30 years with my family , one husband and two kids .
I used to work in an airline as a cabin attendant .
Naturally , I may have visited your countries myself as you do now .
I chose the job because I like traveling and meeting new people .
Now I'm so glad to be able to work for foreign visitors as a licensed guide .
When I have foreign guests .
I'd like to treat them as if they were my home stay guests , and I were their host mother in Tokyo .

What would you like to go in 4 hours? We can visit popular 2~3 places . Here, I will show you 3 recommended tours. Plan A : Tsukiji market / Ginza / Asakusa Plan B : Meiji jingu shrine / Omotesando and Harajuku area / Shibuya Plan C : Akihabara / Ueno / Yanaka residential area You can change the destinations or totally customize.
Kahoko's Tokyo "As you like" One Day Tour
What would you like to see and try in a one day tour? Here ,I will show you three recommended tours . You can try one or two of them. Or, if you you have enough time to try these three , you can cover most of the places in Tokyo. Of course you can change some parts of contents freely or a total customized one along with your requests or interests is also available. Tokyo is such a versatile city. Would you like to try a night life in Tokyo? Then I'll be with you. Let's enjoy a stunning night view from Shibuya Sky , dinner in izakaya, Japanese style pub, strolling mysterious Shinjuku, the biggest nightlife in Japan.
Kahoko's Excursion from Tokyo to Nikko
You can enjoy a rich nature of Nikko such as gorgeous Kegon waterfall , Lake Chuzenji or Sengokubara wild path. After local specialty lunch,you will visit World Heritage Sites, Nikko Toshogu. Stunning buildings established by Tokugawa shogunate, the most powerful ruler in Japanese history. Then, Rinnoji temple with over 1500-year history. Lastly, Futarasan shrne, a famous spiritual spot.
Mt. Takao Hiking Tour with local lunch
Mt. Takao Is a beautiful and lush mountain that is 600 meters in height. This is a light hike as well will take a cable car halfway up the mountain. You will have the opportunity to visit the “yakuo-in” a temple nearing the top of the mountain which you will be able to see some beautiful history about buddhist temples . Afterwards at the peak on a clear day you will be able to see Tokyo tower, mt. Fuji, or shinjuku skyscrapers.
Kahoko's Excursion from Tokyo to Kamakura
Kamakura is an old enchanting city which used be a capital of Kamakura shogunate , the first shogunate in Japan. There are beautiful and tasteful spots . The most famous and handsome giant Budda, Daibutsu comes first, then Hase temple with an elegant garden and unique cave. After lunch, you'll visit Hokokuji temple famous with wonderful bamboo forest,lastly Tsurugaoka Hachiman shrine with a great view. Also , you can enjoy shopping in Komachi shopping street. You can enjoy a memorable day .

“ Perfect start to our holiday ”
Kahoko was fantastic! She showed us around some of the tourist hot spots, helped us with a bit of shopping, getting set up with the public transit, as well as finding a great ramen lunch spot. We got a brief intro to alot of great spots which we will be (re)visiting on subsequent days. No better way to get started in Tokyo. And she was very nice and het English was great. Can recommend to everyone.

“ First day in Tokyo ”
Amazing day with Kahoko. She is a true delight. We all knew from the moment we met her we would have a great day. We accomplished all our goals for the day with ease. She swept the anxiety of maneuvering through Tokyo out the door. Grandsons, ages 14 and 11 adored her.

Kahoko is a Pro! It is easily recognizable from many of her actions and demeanor. She communicates with ease, has a structured but friendly manner, and never falters in meeting expectations! From our original communication, to completion of our two tours with her, it was very clear that she is polished, knows how to interpret your needs and answers that call. Upon meeting us she immediately, just from walking a few steps with us, could tell how to pace our tour. She was patient when we veered from the tour plan, and proficiently got us from point A to B with a keen eye and wonderful care! I had made a special request from her for a purchase for my husband, and not only did she find the ideal location for my request, but she additionally picked up another item (on her own time) and delivered it to us at a different meeting! I am immensely grateful to her for her thoughtfulness. We had great fun with her and enjoyed one of our best meals in Japan at a restaurant of her choosing. There are so many good qualities that can be assigned to Kahoko. Efficent, effortless, organized, knowledgeable, thorough, friendly, warm and just a good person, are a few. She is not a text book Historian but a cultural interpreter always full of surprises, energy and a smile. We were a group of four older adults, and Kahoko went out of her way to please all our realms. During our Japan visit, we utilized 8 different guides for various things. While all of our guides were good, and aimed to please, we all agreed that Kahoko topped the list. Her experience shows and gives her a great edge over other guides. Kahoko is awesome! We really enjoyed her and are so very thankful that we found the best guide imaginable! Book her and you will most certainly be pleased with her personable and professional expertise!

I was wondering how the rest of your tour was going . You were able to see Geisha successfully? I did hope so. “ Full Day Tour to Nikko ”
Kahoko planned our Nikko day perfectly. She booked taxis and Nikko transportation for us and communicated our itinerary well in advance. She is so pleasant to be around and knows much about area. Our day started with a taxi ride to Tokyo Station followed by two Shinkansen trains and then a private driver around Nikko. This would have been difficult to plan myself. Kahako will do all the logistics for you and meet you at your hotel for pickup. Once we got to Nikko we took some scenic pictures and then headed to lunch at a quaint western cuisine restaurant. Then onto two waterfalls an amazing Shinto shrine and Buddhist Temple. On our return she rode back with us making sure we knew when to get off and on our trains. She offers a great tour with a friendly smile. I definitely recommend using her while visiting the Tokyo area.

I became a big fan of Tennessee because of you. As a wife and husband, or a doctor and nurse, you are making a perfect couple.
