Drive through the main street of the city (wall street of Jakarta) with skyscrapers, monument along the street.
Visit National Museum, the largest museum in Indonesia with 140,000 collections dating back to pre-historical to the present time. See also the Treasure Room.
After visiting the museum we drive around the freedom square heading to Istiqlal Mosque and stop to take pictures of National Monument and President Palace.
The biggest mosque of Indonesia. Built during the first President era (Ir. Soekarno) and officially opened by the second President of Indonesia (H. Soeharto) in 1978. The mosque has capacity of 200,000 people and used to be the biggest mosque in South East Asia. It is located in the Wilhelmina Park.
Afterwards We drive further heading to the north (old part / Batavia city and stop at Chima Town).
The most people who lived here are Indonesian-Chinese. This is an interesting place to visit where we can see the Chinese Temple (Vihara) and local traditional market. After walking through the market, we will continue the trip and drive to the center of Colonial Government.
Visit the Jakarta Historical Museum (Fatahillah Museum), to see the collections of antique furniture, Old photos, stone inscriptions back to Hindu time, prisons and dungeon. This building was formerly the Dutch Governor office (General J.P Coen). Afterwards walking around the Fatahillah Square and visit the Wayang / Puppet Museum.
We will see the collections of Puppet / Wayang from all over Indonesia and other countries. There are 4,000 Wayang collections (Wooden Puppet, Shadow Puppet and Mask) displayed in this museum. The former building was Dutch Church and in mini studio you will see how the puppet is made and short demonstrations of how the puppet is played.
The whole show of Puppet performance takes 7 - 8 hours.
Best place to have lunch / drink in the northern part of Jakarta. With different but beautiful interior decorated with so many old photos of the famous people and places. The restaurant offers varieties of foods whether local or western.

After having lunch / drink at Cafe Batavia, we drive further to the last stop of the tour, Sunda Kelapa Harbor. On the way we stop to see the Old Dutch Draw Bridge.
Sunda Kelapa Harbor is the oldest trading harbor in Jakarta. It was small trading harbor under de Hindu Kingdom, developed itself to be the famous trading harbor where the traders from India, Persia, China and European for the first time in Jakarta landed.
See the Phinisi Sailing Ship and with the fisherman boat we will see the harbor from other side. Afterwards we will drive back to the hotel.
After visiting the harbor we will drive back to your hotel.
